Recurring appointments let you schedule repeating bookings automatically — useful for regular clients or recurring services.

Setting up a recurring appointment

When creating a new appointment on the web dashboard, choose a value in Repeat and configure:
CalGest generates recurring appointments up to 365 days ahead. As time passes, new occurrences are created automatically.

Examples

A client comes in every Tuesday at 10:00 AM for a session.Set frequency to Weekly, select Tuesday, and choose the start time. Each week, a new appointment is created automatically.

Editing recurring occurrences

Open any generated occurrence and edit its appointment details or time. CalGest asks what scope to apply the changes to: This lets you handle exceptions — like rescheduling one session — without affecting the rest of the series. The Repeat rule itself is configured during creation. The edit form changes appointment data and timing, not the frequency or end rule.

Deleting occurrences

When deleting a generated appointment, choose the scope:
  • This occurrence removes only that date and records it as an exclusion.
  • This and future ends the recurrence before this date and removes generated appointments from this point onward.
  • All deactivates the recurrence and removes all of its generated appointments.
A recurrence removed with All cannot be reactivated. Create a new recurring appointment if you need to resume it.
Creating recurrence rules and editing or deleting generated occurrences are currently available on the web dashboard. The mobile app displays recurring occurrences, but does not edit them or create new recurring appointments.
