Push notifications keep you informed about important events in your CalGest workspace — new bookings, appointment changes, reminders, and more.

Enabling push notifications

Open notification settings

Go to Settings > Device notifications in the mobile app.

Grant permission

When prompted, allow CalGest to send notifications. This is required for push notifications to work.

Choose what to receive

Toggle which notification types you want to receive on your device.
You can also manage notification permissions in your phone’s system settings under CalGest > Notifications.

Notification types

Customizing notifications

You can control notifications at two levels:
  1. Organization level — in Settings > Notifications on the dashboard, choose which events trigger notifications
  2. Device level — in the mobile app’s settings, choose which notifications appear on your phone
If you’re not receiving notifications, check that:
  • Notifications are enabled in your phone’s system settings
  • You’re signed in to the correct organization
  • The notification type is enabled in both dashboard and app settings

Notification sounds and badges

The CalGest app uses your phone’s default notification sound. The app icon shows a badge count for unread notifications. To customize sounds or badges, go to your phone’s system settings:
  • iOS: Settings > CalGest > Notifications
  • Android: Settings > Apps > CalGest > Notifications
