# Starter packs

> Seed a workspace with appointment types, custom fields, and a session-note template.

Starter packs help new workspaces begin with examples tailored to a type of business. Open **Settings > Starter packs** on the web dashboard.

## Available packs

Each pack also includes appointment fields and a reusable session-note template suited to that field of work.

## Apply or reapply a pack

Choose a pack and select **Apply**. Import runs in the background, so the seeded records can take a moment to appear.

Packs are safe to reapply: CalGest skips appointment types and fields that already exist instead of overwriting your edits. You can review and customize everything after import from **Appointment Types** and **Custom Fields**.
