# Locations

> Manage the branches and physical spaces used by appointments and online booking.

Locations represent branches, studios, rooms, or other physical places where appointments happen.

## Create and manage locations

Open **Locations** in the sidebar. A location has a name, an optional description, and an active status.

* **Active locations** are available in appointment forms, calendar filters, and booking settings.
* **Inactive locations** stay in your records but are hidden from new selections.
* **Deleting a location** removes it from the workspace. Deactivate it when you need to preserve a location for historical reference.

## Use locations in appointments

Choose a location when creating or editing an appointment. The Agenda can then be filtered by location, which is useful for teams working across several branches.

You can also select a **default location** in **Settings > Booking**. New public bookings use that location automatically.

## Plan limits

| -------- | ---------------- |
| **Solo** | 1                |
| **Team** | Up to 5          |

If you need more than five locations, contact sales about a custom plan.

  Locations can be viewed and selected in the mobile app, but creating, editing, and deleting locations is currently available on the web dashboard.
