# Insights

> Understand appointment activity, team workload, and SMS delivery.

The **Insights** page gives you an overview of appointment and SMS performance. It is currently available to organization Owners and Admins.

## Choose a reporting period

Use the range selector to view the last 7, 30, 90, or 365 days. Charts automatically use daily, weekly, or monthly groupings appropriate to the selected period.

## Appointment insights

The page includes:

* Total appointments, cancellation rate, and unique customers
* Appointment trends, including completed and cancelled appointments
* Breakdown by appointment status and appointment type
* Busiest hours of the day
* The five employees with the most assigned appointments

## SMS insights

The SMS summary shows total messages sent, delivered, and failed, along with the delivery rate and total cost for the selected period.

  Analytics queries use the most recent 10,000 relevant records. When that limit is reached, CalGest displays a notice because totals for the period may be incomplete.

  Insights are currently available on the web dashboard. The mobile app includes a read-only usage and message history view, but not the Insights charts.
