# Booking form on your own website

> Put your CalGest booking form inside your existing website.

If your business already has a website, you can show the booking form on it. Customers book without leaving your site, and the bookings land in CalGest as they do from your booking page.

## Get the code

**1. Turn the booking page on**

The code appears once the booking page is saved and turned on in **Settings > Booking**.

**2. Copy the code**

In **Settings > Booking**, find **Add to your website** and select **Copy code**.

**3. Paste it into your site**

In your site builder, add an HTML or "embed code" block where the form should go, and paste the code.

The code has two lines:

```html theme={null}
<iframe data-calgest-embed src="https://your-business.calgest.com/embed" title="Online booking: Your business" loading="lazy" style="width:100%;min-height:720px;border:0"></iframe>
<script src="https://calgest.com/embed.js" defer></script>
```

Copy it from the dashboard rather than from here: the dashboard fills in your own address and business name.

The first line shows the form. The second line makes the form grow to fit, so your page scrolls instead of the form. Some site builders don't allow scripts. Paste only the first line there: the form keeps a fixed height and scrolls inside.

## Link only

If your site builder doesn't accept code at all, use **Copy link** under **Link only** and add it to a button or a menu item. It opens your booking page.

## What the form shows

The embedded form is the booking part of your page: your business name, the services, the calendar of free times and the customer's details. Your photos, opening hours and contacts stay on your booking page.

The form uses the language of your customer messages. Search engines don't list the embedded form, only your booking page.

> [!NOTE]

> Changing your URL slug changes the address in the code. Copy the code again and replace it on your site.
